Summer Photo Contest!

May 23 – September 1, 2025

Spectacular water views, mesmerizing forest scenes, fascinating wildlife interactions, and intricate plant patterns—the Housatonic Valley is full of natural beauty! 

This summer, we want to see YOUR outdoor photos featuring the places, critters, and flora you love.  

Grab your cameras and phones and submit photos here, from now until September 1, for the chance to be featured (with credit) on the Housatonic Valley Association website, social pages, and in our e-blasts. We’ll also be giving away some fun, pop-up prizes every month, along with a grand prize in September! 

The only rule? Your photo must be captured in one of the 83 towns that make up the Housatonic River watershed. See a full map of the region here.

By submitting photos to the Housatonic Valley Association (HVA), you grant HVA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display the submitted images in any and all media formats and channels. This includes, but is not limited to, use on our website, in e-blasts, on social media platforms, and in promotional or educational materials. You affirm that you own the rights to the photo(s) submitted or have permission from the rights holder to share them, and that no third-party rights will be violated by this use. HVA may edit or crop images as needed for formatting and consistency. Credit will be given when possible.
