Kayla Arnold, New Milford, CONNECTICUT – Photo 2

Cicada Killer Wasp was dragging it’s paralyzed prey across the parking lot trying to get to the grass and nearly getting hit by cars, so I stopped and picked both the cicada and the mighty wasp up in my bare hand and relocate the, to where he/she was trying to go. It didn’t sting me and it remained calm in my hand as I dashed across the dirt lot to the grass and then it just carrying on its merry way dragging its lunch in the grass!
